Entrepreneurs Can Lose Focus

An entrepreneur coach does not need to know the particulars of how to run your business or profession. Instead a good business coach needs to know how to get the best out of you. When people find out I am a coach for entrepreneurs they sometimes ask me how I got to learn about all of those businesses. I got to learn about all of those businesses by spending almost 40 years working with small business owners.

I am also a successful entrepreneur. To be a successful entrepreneur you need to have a few things going for you. One is a coach. I know that seems self-serving. It is not.

Entrepreneurs Face Challenges

You should understand that as an entrepreneur you are going to face challenges that people who have a job working for someone else do not have. One of hose is the repeated questioning by yourself and others as to whether or not you have made the right choice.

When those times come, there is nobody better t work with than a coach. You see, a good business coach is not going to answer that question for you. A good business coach is going to help you look at your situation objectively and is going to help you come up with the right answer.

Entrepreneurs Are Sometimes Too Close

Sometimes entrepreneurs are too close to the situation to really appreciate what is going on. Sometimes the pressures are so great from outside they start building pressure on the inside. That pressure can rob you of a clear vision.

Many entrepreneurs have come to me on the verge of giving up only to start a program with me and find that not only was there hope for success, it was right in front of them.

Entrepreneurs Have Answers

In my life I have overcome what many see as a mountain of adversities. They range from having my very first business deal pulled out from under me as I was taking my last final exam in law school to having a series of bad relationships.

Each of those challenges was met and conquered. I am a very successful, very happily married man today. I did it because I had confidence in myself and my endeavors. I had that confidence because of the encouragement and accountability of my coach.
