Nobody really succeeds without confidence.

There may be a situation where it looks as though one is successful, but if they lack confidence in themselves and what they are doing that apparent success will soon turn into turmoil. I know that sounds almost cruel. It is just the sad truth.

You can look back to the earliest stories of mankind. Before we had the concept of confidence we used the word “faith.” It took faith to persevere and faith to reach the goal and faith to find peace.

Really there isn’t much of a difference between faith and confidence. Each of them is just a state of mind.

Do You Believe In Yourself?

Do you believe in yourself? Do you have faith that you are capable? Then you have confidence in yourself.

But faith, or confidence can be hard to come by. I like to say that confidence cannot be learned. It can only be developed through practice.

One of the things that holds people back is the fear of rejection. People worry too much about what others may think of them if they try something new or if they attempt something and don’t succeed.

Rejection Is In Your Mind

Rejection, though, is something that we create in our minds. Remember that you cannot control what other people think of you, you can only control how it affects you.

I admit that it can be difficult to feel like others disapprove. I have been through moments like that in my life. But I learned how to have faith, or confidence if you will, that I was being the best “me” that I could be. I may not ab able to satisfy the wishes and desires of everybody I encounter. But when I lay myself to sleep each night I know that I have done my best to make the most of that day. That really is all that any of us can do.

I encourage you to believe in yourself first. Have faith that you are on the right track. If you are you will know it in your heart. You will have peace. If you don’t have that peace and sense of calm, it is time to change direction.

You Have The Power

The good news is that the power to do that is within your control. But you must have faith, you have to be confident about yourself. You can do it. I know you can. I am confident of that.
