Confidence to Admit You are Struggling

Show Your Confidence

Sometimes it takes a little show of confidence to admit that you are not where you want to be in your business or personal life. I am not talking about complaining. Complaining will never accomplish anything. Only action produces results. Complaining may encourage action, but it is usually action that someone else takes.

Admit You Could Use Help

What I am talking about here is the ability to admit to yourself that you could use a little help, either personally or in your business. So many people look at the act of asking for help as a sign of weakness, or worse yet, failure. And that inability to ask for a helping hand often ends up in disaster.

I have seen people in business who would rather go broke than admit they did not know all of the answers. And go broke they did. It is simply a derivative of being too proud to admit they do not have a solution to a problem.

You Have What It Takes

How does confidence play a part in asking for help? If you know you are on the right path, you know you have the abilities to do what you set out to do but see that you aren’t making the progress you had expected, then you are confident in your goal, just uncertain in how to get there.

When people lack confidence, they are ashamed to admit they aren’t succeeding. If you lack confidence you are unwilling to admit you do not have the answer, when it is clear to yourself that you don’t.

Do You Have a List of “Unaccomplishments?”

You find yourself staring at your list of “unaccomplishments” and wondering what to do next.

What you should do next is ask someone to help you. Do not ask a friend or family member. They are going to tell you what you want to hear. The are in your corner and that is great. But they are not the objective voice you need to hear.

Here Is What You Need To Do

If you want to get over the hurdle that is holding you back, get past the roadblock that is in your way and solve that puzzle that keeps you up at night, talk to a Certified Professional Coach.

If the CEO’s of the Fortune 500 companies have coaches, why shouldn’t you? If you think it is too expensive you are wrong. Because while you sit and face that insurmountable challenge or let those goals go unfinished, you are losing ground, financially and personally.

I do not know of a successful coach who does not also have a coach. Why? Because we know the benefit.
