Business Success and Happiness

Business Success is More Than Money

If you are a what is called a small business owner, I can help you fit the pieces of your business puzzle together in a profitable way.

But that is not what this is about. This is about the truth you may not have come to understand yet. That truth is that no matter how much money you make, it is meaningless without happiness and joy in your life.

What Are You Missing?

Through my many years as an attorney, consultant and coach I have helped many small business owners achieve their financial goals. In those years I have also achieved my own financial goals. But something was missing.

I was recognized by any number of organizations and individuals as a high-quality attorney who built a multi-million dollar practice from the ground up.

I went into coaching and consulting and built another high-performing business that led me into the field of professional speaking.

What Is Important to You?

All of that looks great from the outside. What I was lucky enough to understand and appreciate early on was that my happiness with myself and what I was doing was much more important than the dollar figure that ended up on my tax returns and financial statements.

Many of my business coaching clients come to me trying to figure out what they are doing wrong. Even though they are making a profit they have this emptiness within them. It leads to a feeling of dissatisfaction in themselves, their employees and partners, their businesses and even their spouses.

Have Youn Really Thought About Your Goals Lately?

In our initial sessions we go over what their real goals are. What is it they really want to achieve? Too often people get into business without ever asking themselves that question.

A solid, successful business is like a puzzle. There are many parts that have to fit together in the right place and in the right order. To do that you have to go to the end of the puzzle. Or as Stephen Covey suggested in his book “The 7 Habits of Highly Successful People” begin with the end in mind.

Covey uses this part of his book teaching about human development. It is equally applicable to your business.
