Confidence and the Future

Have Confidence and You Will Succeed

No matter whether you are the CEO of a Fortune 500 company or a brand new graduate of a chiropractic school, you could be doing more with your life than you already are. There are things still to accomplish, goals to be set and met, achievements that have eluded you.

So ask yourself what it is that is holding you back. The most common answer is fear. Oh, no one ever wants to admit they are afraid. There are a million names for fear. Uncertainty is one. Indecision is another. But when the light comes on bright the real thing lurking in your mind is fear.

That’s okay. We all have fear. It is natural. In fact, if you did not experience fear you would not be normal. Fear can be good. It can make you race from a burning building. It can keep you from running into traffic. It will save you from sticking your hand on a hot stove. So, don’t disavow fear. Instead learn to live beyond fear.

The term “live beyond fear” came to me in a meeting one day. I was telling someone how people want to tell me how fearless I am. In reality I have the same basic fears as everyone else. I have to. I am member of the same species. So it always surprises me when people see me as fearless.

The person I was speaking with looked at me and said, “You have just learned how to live beyond fear.” I thought about that for a minute. That is the answer. I just live beyond fear.

It took me many years to get here. As a child I was afraid of just about everything. My mother, God love her, was an extremely over-protective mother. She took every fear she had about me being injured and infused it into my psyche. Don’t get me wrong, I do not resent my mother for it. In the long run it got me to where I am today. But it was a long, and sometimes very difficult, struggle.

Today I know that I have a lot more to accomplish. I know that I have a lot of work to do to meet my goal of helping other people overcome their fears. I do this because I have seen too many people, me included, be robbed of a full and satisfying life by fear.

Now I work with people from all walks of life and coach them to new levels of confidence. Confidence is the antithesis of fear. Confidence comes with the realization that you are a unique individual and that no one can bring to the world what you have to offer.

To be truly confident you have to be able to accept yourself as the person that you are. You have to stop comparing yourself to others. You are your only competitor. It is you who will make your life fulfilled or empty. No one else is in control of it but you.

I want this kind of confidence for you. Can I help guide you to new levels of confidence and achievement? The undeniable answer is “Yes.” Contact me and I will give you a free strategy session and help you discover your confidence in your future. The only thing that is stopping you from making that call is fear of the unknown. Live beyond fear.
